Brooklyn Reptyle Films, a LA production company, recently became involved with WAMclips, a new multi-purpose website for filmmakers. It follows the filmmaking process from stem to stern and is an online Independent Film Digital Distribution community with multiple functions, both in production and exhibition.

WAMclips allows actors, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, and any and all crew members to promote themselves in front of industry professionals looking to hire people for film jobs and it helps producers crew up and cast their films. One nice advantage of WAMclips for cast and crew listings is that each individual can change their resume, demo reel or headshot (actors) as many times during the year without extra charges.

WAMclips gives filmmakers the opportunity for self-distribution by posting their films (Shorts or Features) online and having people either pay to watch a film or, for an additional fee, download and burn a DVD copy for themselves.

Brooklyn Reptyle Films has been granted special permission to offer a discount to those who want to promote themselves using the Indy Filmmakers Registry and a larger percentage of all revenues from self-distribution. • The fee is $25.00 per position registered per year.
• Only $19.95 to add a demo reel.
• You can update when you want with NO extra charges.
• You will receive a 10% discount on the actual price by using the special code provided by Brooklyn Reptyle.
• The code to receive your discount is RCIFR. You’ll be prompted for the code when you sign up.

2. Self-Distribution (Selling your films on WAMclips.com)

Independent Film Digital Distribution

• You can sell your shorts and features online.
• This is a non-exclusive agreement; you can take your film down and walk away at anytime.
• You will maintain control of your film.
• There is NO long term contract.
• You will receive 60% of all revenues if referred by Brooklyn Reptyle (regular rate 55%).
• The code to receive your 5% increase in revenues is RCWC. You’ll be prompted for the code when you download a film.
